The Football Stockmarket

Football Index Order Books allow Traders to set footballer Share prices on the platform based on current Dividends and future potential Dividends.

When a footballer performs on the pitch or in the media - there’s more chance that they’ll win Dividends. Traders look for the footballers they think will win payouts, and this informs the price they want to pay for Shares and the value they want to sell for. Of course, bets on Football Index last for three years - so a footballer’s value isn’t just based on current form, but future potential as well.

There are many factors that can determine why Traders will purchase shares in a particular footballer, the main reasons are listed above.

Media Dividends reward Media Magnets - players who hit the headlines on a regular basis. Match Day Dividends reward Top Performers, who dominate on the pitch. ‍

What is Issuance?

Issuance occurs when Football Index introduces new Shares to the market. These Shares can be introduced at any price point, and on any player (provided the player doesn’t already have the maximum amount of Shares in circulation).

Football Index can issue up to 1,000 Shares per day on any one player. If we don’t issue 1,000 Shares on a particular day, we roll the Shares over to the next day. Rolled over Shares expire after 30 days. The maximum amount of Shares that can be in circulation in any one player is 1million.
